Emergency doctor, mom, and constantly in search of new adventures! Returned to the midwest after 8 years active duty Navy and settling into a life with my amazing husband and daughter. With a new girl on the way, I like to keep busy with crafty projects, house projects, spending time with family and friends while planning the next exciting opportunity. Be it travel, a project, a new book, a new hobby, I’m up for it! Being healthy and environmentally conscious is very important to me, so I do what I can when I can. Prior Californian, Floridian, world traveler, runner, current weightlifter, dabbling in sewing, soapmaking, knitting, cooking, woodworking, gardening, deer hunting, canoeing, skiing, and hoping to add more to that list. I work full time in a busy ER but outside of work I cheer for the Iowa Hawkeyes and spend my downtime outside as much as I can.
Hi Leslie,
I ran across your name doing an online search and it turned out I know you! It’s Nichole, from Iowa City.. we worked together at U of I for awhile. Just wanted to say hi, and that I hope all is well with you. Ryan and I are back in Iowa, in Des Moines and have two little boys now. Life is great here, and I hope you are happy. If you want, drop me a line. Take care.
Hi Leslie,
I was checking out pictures of Jim Morrison’s gravesite and came across the picture of you visiting Pere Lachaise.
I read your website and truly enjoyed everything you posted. It is fantastic that you have traveled the world while still young and before settling in for the medical profession.
I am sure you will continue to travel throughout your life.
I never had the chance to travel the world, to visit Paris, and I am happy that you got the opportunity.
Do well in your career and life!
Mike
